ABOUT US
We are Industrial Donut, a family owned and operated donut (and coffee) shop in Savoy, IL. Our family team consists of James, Becca, and Sydney (mini-owner), all born and bred in central IL. Foodies to the core, we’ve spent the last 7 years traveling, trying unique restaurants and experiencing new food concepts. Continually saying, “we need something like this back home”, we finally decided that the time had come to bring FRESH, made-to-order DONUTS to Chambanavoy!

What’s up with the name?
It has a ring to it, doesn’t it? Or we think it does. Essentially, we envisioned a donut factory, an assembly line of sorts, and you’re on the line today! Our donut robots spit out freshly prepared vanilla cake donuts to start the process. Coming out, hot off the line, it’s our turn to finish the manufacturing process, YOUR WAY, and right in front of you!
What exactly is my part in the process?
The entire process begins with YOU completing an order form, selecting the icings/glazes and toppings of your choice. Industrial Donut offers 8 icings/glazes (including a special) and 16 toppings on a daily basis (though you don’t have to choose a topping). In addition, we also have plain & simple donuts (plain, powdered sugar, and cinnamon sugar), house specialties (Industrial Waste, PB&J Hole, and the Dirty Donut), and will offer unique weekly specials to mix it up a bit!
Why only cake donuts?
Because we rock at cake donuts! Oh, and we really like you, but not enough to wake up that early to make yeast donuts… glazed and simple.
What kind of coffee do you serve?
We serve coffee from Columbia Street Roastery, a locally owned and operated business.
Where can I see your allergy information?
Our allergy information is listed on our website. We also have notices posted inside the shop.
Do you offer gluten-free donuts?
Our cogs are turning trying to find a solution to gluten-friendly donuts. We can say this though, because of the nature of our business, we will not be able to guarantee a 100% gluten-free product. Because we make all of our donuts in the same area, there is an inherent risk of cross contamination. See allergy information for full warning.
Why Savoy?
We’ve spent a lot of time in Savoy over the past few years and realized how underserved it is for such a growing population. Our location is conveniently located in Savoy’s City Center (behind Aldi’s and Christie Clinic on N. Dunlap) and is just a short drive from Champaign, Urbana, and Tolono.
